Don't You Dare Bother This Dad During Yankees Postseason Baseball

This is my guy. This the exact kind of fan you should be. You're watching a big game you need every single person around you in unison, locked in with the TV as the Yankees play every game like it's their last. Good vibes only. If there are people in the background having a side conversation and whispering that's a no can do. Anyone on their phone scrolling through IG, just go away. Go to your room. Why are you here? The Yankees are on and it's October, you're either all in or you can get lost.

Similar thing happened to me at the game on Friday night. The Twins had just tied the game in the 5th inning and I was starting to have some self doubt about what I was watching. Were we going to have to show up on Saturday to avoid going down 0-2? Straight up panic was in my brain. There were five guys to my right who were awesome. They knew what Barstool was but were also huge Yankees fans living and dying on every pitch. The way you should be if you're in the Bronx in October. Those guys went to go to the bathroom and to grab a beer so their seats were empty. It took all of 30 fucking seconds for this asshole to come down from wherever he was and hop into their seats. I'm looking down at my phone tweeting for maybe 5 seconds when this asshole had the balls to say, "Hey, Hey, Hey Hey" until I finally looked up at him in complete shock at what was going on. He said, "Stop looking down at your phone, and watch the game." He was hopping seats and thought he had the right to tell other fans what they should be doing while there was a break in the action. These guys were gone for no more than 30 seconds and their seats were taken by this schmuck and his buddy. I was appalled.

Keep in mind there was nothing going on at this very moment in time. I had seen what was going on in the game obviously and was reacting on my phone. This was the angriest I think I've ever gotten at a stranger in my life. After quickly explaining what I was doing and that I was well aware what was going on, he continued being the most annoying human being to ever exist. I then told this guy to get the fuck off out of my face. I'm not an asshole by any means. I think I'm a really nice guy. If you were sitting there with me you would have done the same thing. Tommy told our intern/producer TJ to get his phone out because he thought a fight was breaking out. Eventually the guys came back and he was gone. One of the worst people I've ever met. The moment he left the good juju came back and the Yankees started to dominate.

Moral of the story and bringing this back to the video, surround yourself with people who are as into the game as you are. Good vibes only. I love this dad up top. He is all of us watching the Yankees in October. As passionate as it gets. Literally brought to tears because he might have to murder his own family to get some peace and quiet for the playoffs. That's my guy. Hopefully he'll adopt me. Shout out @DaniMaruo on Insta for the video of her dad.

Get the fucking brooms out.
